That makes sense. I think you're being unfair though, you might not think you have special qualities but he does. No reason to say he's lonely or desperate, he has a mind of his own and if he's happy with the relationship, good for him. If you find you share those feelings and you think he's nice, then there shouldn't be a problem. Let it play out.

@Boggart I'm not going to argue about your face. But I will throw 2 cliches out there. 1) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 2) You're special on the inside :) Just focus on figuring out whether you like him.
