    Who cares about that, as long as you're not wasting the money you spent to be there! Your professor makes his money whether you do good or bad, I wouldn't worry about it so much if I was you. xD

    I just feel guilty when I speak with my professors. I just feel like my effort isn't appropriate for the work that they do.

    If anything he is obligated to help you during his hours of operation. Even if you think your wasting effort conveying your thoughts, he'll have to stand by and listen. The minor benifits of paying 15-30k a year :)
