I've never wanted to punch someone in the face as much as I do now. My girlfriend's dad was going to buy her a Jeep, and then this conversation happened. GF: "Hey, are you still going to get me that jeep?" Dad:"Depends, are you still dating Plunk?" GF: "Yeah." Dad: "Then no."

Yeah, I think Ladida is right. You don't have to end things, just take a breather. As for the parents, that makes sense.

I already suggested taking a break, and she said she doesn't believe in breaks. So either we end it, or we have to deal with it.

Alright, I've made my decision. I'm going to request that we take a break, and if she can't concede that to me, then it's over. I'm not going to date someone who's parent's claim they love me, and then pull stuff like this constantly. And it would be better for her anyways, because they'd get off her back.
