Just don't directly click links from cheating sites to Neopets and they can't see anything. For links if you copy/paste them into your address bar they don't send a referrer value.

Yeah, I'm on codex and neopets on different tabs all the time. It only makes you feel extremely naughty.

If you have no knowledge of other languages, I'd imagine Python, Java, Visual Basic, and C# would be the easiest to learn.
