I will never understand how people managed to rack up like 100k in student loans unless they're trying to be a doctor or lawyer or something.

I mostly got the loans to take summer courses. During the school year I get financial aid + scholarship money. But during the summer they're just like "fuck you you're on your own." But I've got a job in my career field as soon as I graduate so I'm not too bothered.

Pretty much all UK unis are charging top tuition fee rates now. Which means that unfortunately I'll probably be about £45k ($72k) in debt by the end.
It's a necessary evil though.
