I only wear white outside of work. Of course in a kitchen it's messy, I've worked in plenty of places that wanted white chef coats for the look...they last 30 mins before they're permanently stained with blood or tomato sauce...I've switched all my staff over to black for that reason. Nothing but compliments for looking professional since I switched.
