Does anyone have a memorization technique to remember a 3 minute speech perfectly?

When I did extemporaneous speaking, I found that the best method is to write an outline. It's a lot harder to memorize something word for word than to write down a single summary sentence for each point you want to make.

Make an outline with an introduction, then signpost, meaning allude to your main points before you begin, then write down the idea in a single sentence with no more than 3 bullet points for supporting evidence. Repeat for each idea and then sum it up by summarizing all your points in a sentence.
