When your professor finally posts a rubric on how to get an A on a semester long paper that everyone has been stressing on and upon opening the document, it literally only has at most 60 words. Five of those words are: "Enough to educate a patient." (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

Watch and learn...watch and learn. ;)

Actually, this takes me back to...no reason, it just came flooding in as a huge memory...a terrifyingly HATEFUL speech the professor of my undergrad Urban Sociology (as I was a microbiology major, it was an elective for me) class gave to ALL of us following a term paper submission. Essentially he said everything turned in was worse than the crap crawled upon by whatever microorganisms dine on feces, and that all but 3 of 40 students FAILED (and that he would pass out the graded exams at the subsequent class meeting in 2 days); the "lucky three" got an A and two C's, respectively. I was terrified and hung around after class to ask him how I could make up the grade. To my shock, he laughed his ass off and said that I got the only A...AND that I shouldn't let the sociology majors know LOL!

That's not the issue. I believe everyone in my class can go up to someone in Starbucks and teach a stereotypical art student about anything like aneurysms, but the real problem is that the rubric gave us 0 direction on how indepth or how little we should discuss the points he highlighted. My classmate would be pissed if she lost points because she didn't include something that the professor wanted even though the professor didn't clearly state that he wanted it in the first place. I'm mad as well because I want to get this paper perfect or near perfect so I don't stress over it during the time the professor grades it during the exams and presentations next week.

Well Keil then you should challenge it...and also know that no matter how you challenge it, likely nothing will be overturned. By "watch and learn", I'm essentially addressing the fact that...no matter how maddening the situation is...no matter the "right and wrong" aspects, whatever the professor says goes; it's a clusterfuck indeed I know, but meh. :( Life in general isn't very fair. Get to be an old fart like me, and you will have numerous layers of clouds lifted from your eyes!
