A scammer tried to chargeback a purchase from me and, for the first time, PayPal decided in my favour!! I didn't even know that was possible hahaha

the only way they can charge back is if they sent as a payment, if it's "sent to a friend" it doesn't matter if you get scammed or not they won't refund you.

My country doesn't allow friends payment so they sent via goods and services everytime, but I still got CB'ed a few times. That's the first time they refund me.

This happened to me recently as well, did an official invoice for the payment and it was resolved in my favor.
