A guy down the street was just hit by a car and killed a couple hours ago. Older guy that always kept the sidewalks clean. Was a hit and run, kinda sad.

Yeah it's just really odd feeling. I didn't know the guy too well but we saw him every day when we came home. They're still looking for the suspect but I hope they find it soon. Not too many with his kind of car (purple dodge neon with front end damage now) So...hopefully.

Hopefully they get the bastard who did that. You may not have known the guy but he was a part of your community & sometimes that's enough to influence the heart/soul without even realizing it until something like this happens. Heck, by extension I feel bad... sounds like the ol fellah was a good soul who wanted to do his small part in keeping your community clean/nice. Hope he is resting in peace. Sorry for your loss
