Why do women think it's weird to know that I want a family? I love kids and want to raise my own. Are men not allowed to want a family at my age (22)?

Over here, in the UK. 22 is more than acceptable to have children and a family. I have several close friends in this situation (im 24) Infact, my girlfriend has a little boy who is 2 years old! (not mine)

Even when I was 20, and not in the military. A family was something I knew I must create.
