Keeping Galleries are awesome. I have been playing for 12 years and let me tell you how many items I have sitting in my gallery that are beyond unbuyable. Candychan stamp is outrageous and will continue to go unless they implement it back in the game. I like to hold on to stuff I know will go up in price and use my gallery to store the stuff.
