So..I watched a video about a speech a kid gave in order to get into Stanford and something seemed "off". I don't know what it was but there was something about the kid that just gave me the heebie jeebies. Can someone make me feel less crazy by watching it?

I felt that he was a young person trying to sound/act like an adult. Which was a little offputting but wasn't that out of the ordinary.

I totally see what you're saying Romy. His facial expressions and body language feel very forced, unnatural, and his suit is a bit too big for him. So that kind of stifles his body language to a degree too.

Also, it looks like he's wearing braces (I could be wrong) so that is sort of changing how his lips move and could make it seem a bit more forced. I dunno. I got the creepies too though watching his whole speech.
