If I use my school VPN, will my IP show up as the same on as my other computer connected to the network here at my house? It shouldn't, but I just want some feedback.

why don't you just try signing onto the VPN and then go to google and type in "My IP" in the search bar and see what it shoots back at you.

That's odd, if you're connecting from a separate location it the two IPs should be different. Unless your house is like right next to your school and uses the same ISP as them. When I first connected my laptop to my school's network I was assigned a static IP that's used each time I access that network to identify my computer, but it's different from my home IP.
