Not for me, but is there some kind of law for verbal abuse for a super religious family(aka no divorce)?

The person would just be prolonging the divorce by not signing. Even if they had some spiritual belief for not signing. Would probably take a few months of one side not signing for that side to be forced to go to court over it. They will just eventually grant the divorce (might take a while though).

Like they said, all they could do is just fight it. Divorce is absolutely not accepted by the Bible, and I can imagine if either of them had a thread of faith they would be fighting it. If you're looking for some sort of loophole in the Bible you're not going to find it.
