If I pre-order a game do you usually get like a keychain or something? or is that only with certain games?

usually the freebie with the pre-order is mentioned in an advertisement or catalogue. When I go to GameStop, they tell me exactly what I get like an free expansion pack or hat

it depends on where you go and what sort of promotion they got there.. let's say gamestop holding promotion.. but it's not guaranteed to be at the gamestop you are going to.. so yeah
