Why do people assume that when you're buying art, you can back out and not pay when its finished? |D I hate having to ask for payment beforehand but I guess I have to. Sucks.

I give a preview but always ask for full payment before giving them the full image... unless you mean they backed out and didnt want it anymore?

I have had bad luck with artists never delivering when paid ahead of time. At my last office we paid a guy $2000 for a wall-sized sculpture to go in the reception area and 1.5 years later he was still dodging us and not providing any proof that progress had been made. Hate to say it but with art it goes both ways.

I got confirmation throughout the stages, and provided a preview, requested payment before handing over the full piece/editing what they'd want and suddenly they decide they dont want it. |D pretty upset.
