Dang, that is rough. That is a crappy place to be. In any case, they may help with your situation if you ask? Worst case scenario is they say "suck a dick" and don't help. Best case is they sell their theater department to help you make payments on stuff.

I feel so freaking hopeless about it all. It is a really crappy place to be. This is how my freshmen year was -- when I worked full time, did chemo full time and took a full semester. I had to work full-time because even with the scholarship I won, I had to pay out of pocket for the rest because my parents claimed me as a dependent but didn't plan for me to go to uni. I barely scraped together enough to pay for that semester. And I nearly died doing it. Anyways, I've already contacted my department counselor about the DSST test. I'm just waiting on a response. My uni appears to accept the test in place of the class. I can produce the 80 dollars to take the test and I have the drive to do it. I just need to figure out how to schedule it and if I can take it prior to the summer term.
