Community Status Updates

Help me decide on what to do... My PC I built on a low budget 3 years ago is still great, performs better than a lot of up to date desktops you'd pay more than 1.8 grand for from companies like HP, etc, I spent about 1.1 grand on it within a year of building.. Its not beginning to show its age to me, since a lot of the newer games I want to play have been starting to have frame rate drops to below 50 fps now and the CPU is defo not living up to expectations at all, but much better than what I had originally... The case I purchased as an update for xmas last year is MASSIVE and its just too heavy for my desk and has started to crack the glass top...

Do I try to update the parts that need the overhaul and put up with the Case and sort out my area or get a new desk, it'd cost around 700-800 to update the CPU and GPU and to get an SSD...

Or should I sell my PC to fund the new one? OR would it be good to buy part by part every few weeks? =\
I need my daily fix of my daily websites so if I sell my system I'd sorta be without....
Not sure what or how to do xD
