At what point does a pet become "untrainable"?

A pet become untrainable when the pets HP, Strength, or Defense becomes greater than 2x the pets Level.

A pet with 1,100 HP, 85 Strength, and 30 Defense that is level 550 is trainable, but if its level was only 549 it would be untrainable.

A stat is "untrainable" if it is more then half of your level I believe.
