Math test tomorrow. Still trying to figure out how to solve an equation when I've gotten him to explain it at least 5+ times now.

    Can you try squaring both sides and using trig identities to make it just cos or just sin equals something?

    what @Yac said. You could square both sides, isolate the sin^2 + cos^2 (which is 1), and try to fit an angle identity for the remaining term
