Apparently twin comforters work on twin XL beds, because they aren't fitted to the bed, like sheets are. I can have my Harry Potter comforter now. My dorm is going to be Nerd Heaven.

Get 'em anyway. Put both on the bed, just each type of sheet gets half the bed.

I use a kids' blanket from IKEA even though I'm a grown-ass adult because the fabric is softer. Also, it has owls on it.
