Hmmm....do I go back to school to get my Master's in Education Administration so I can become a principal and then eventually move up to becoming head of Mathematics in the district...

    I feel lucky that in SPED I get to actually work with students. IMHO principles get to hobnob with shittes, irrational parents and lawsuits

    Lawsuits not in this district. Principals have nothing to do with them, they do deal with the shitty kids and the shitty parents, but they also do a lot more. A lot of data driven stuff, observing teachers. One thing I would love to see principals do to show the students they care a lot more is to actually go in the classroom and teach a lesson to them (like reading or math). That's one thing I would do if I become a principal. I love teaching and I don't want to just leave the classroom and become a principal, I'd still want to teach a lesson or two a year.
