When I was in grad school, there was a local area band that had a song that I LOVED...they never went anywhere, nor did the song (except locally), but I actually paid them back in the day $50 for a CD...this is the track that did the best, and I love it: http://tinyurl.com/q8mg7l6 (let me know what you think in comments, and please note before you trash it that I was in grad school in the mid-90's). ;)

They didn't charge...I approached them and asked for a CD to be made, and I offered $50 because I wanted it that much. They never produced a CD of their popular cassette, so after breaking like 3 cassettes, that's why I wanted a CD (it actually has the full album, too). Perhaps a crazy expenditure, but I'm glad ot have it. :D
