New battery in the car, check! Now to see about getting the ancient alarm system removed...as it doesn't seem to want to turn off wailing even while driving. :/

    I remember my car used to do that so I disconnected everything from the battery and reconnected and it stopped doing it. Pretty sure I just got lucky. xD

    @arcanum and @Harlow...the day is over, and it all cost around $350 (grrrr!). UGH, I'm so going to sit and chillax with a glass of wine now and pretend that all didn't happen!
