On a completely random note, my manager walked into my office today, shut the door, and asked, "Can we talk?"...and of course I'd be lying if I said I didn't freak out a tad at that question. All good, however, as the "talk" involved being handed a bonus check!

Always nice getting bonuses isn't it? I don't get them anymore, I give them, but it feels just as good. My employees took it upon themselves to talk to the owner and get me a couple paid days off (dept of health is coming so I've been extra picky about cleaning and policies, which means I'm the mean boss because I expect results and get pissed when they don't happen)...they probably just want time off from me in the kitchen hahah
