    Celebs throw buckets of ice water over their heads to raise awareness for ALS (horrible disease my grandfather had it) and donate money afterwards. Then they can nominate some people who have to do the challenge in 48 hours

    It's not just limited to celebs. My friends have been doing it before it became a thing for celebs.

    And personally I liked Sheen's take on it the best. :D
