    and it has a lot to do with my cheap asking parents. Does anyone know how the latest generation of Furbys communicate with an Android Device like a my Kindle Fire HD. I don't have a data plan on my Kindle, so to download games we go to the coffee shop etc. So would my Furby need my Kindle to be on the internet?

    I'd guess it uses sound rather than internet or bluetooth.
