@xNarcotic as far as I know, I'm just simply not allowed to drive during those three months, and if I do drive, I'm driving without insurance. Over here, that means the police can pull me over and write me a ticket of E400,-. But my parents in law have a farm and a huge barn, so he'll be standing warm and dry for those months, luckily :D

And I just returned from the dealer and made the prepayment. We're now arranging the insurance and then when we get the papers tomorrow or the day after, we'll be able to pick it up. But now I am officially the owner of an oldtimer :D
(It's weird though, because he doesn't feel like an oldtimer to me, just a regular old car lol. But Dutch law states it's an oldtimer at 25+ years of age, and this one's 28)

Thats odd. I know a guy out in Germany who has the same car as me and they only allow him to insure it 6 months out of the year. I wonder why they do such things. Anyways, congrats on your new-to-you car! Enjoy it! Winter months are, unfortunately, right around the corner.

Hmm, 6 months would be very short. That's indeed odd :/ It's in my favour now, fortunately. And yeah, it's a shame that it's december relatively soon, but I'll be happily cruising to my Halloween job for the entirety of October in it :D
