I don't think this is new. OCBs have been known to contribute to successful, healthy and productive work environments for awhile thanks to I/O psychologists. OCBs = organizational citizenship behaviors. So like being nice, being supportive, empathy, compassion, etc are all fundamental for a good work-place.

This is actually a point of interest to me, since I'm considering pursuing organisational psych o: I wonder what new ground the research proposal wanted to cover, otherwise why would they fund something just to cover something that's already known?
