Idk I have no problem with porn. What bugs me is when guys use porn to justify being fucking stupid. Like I know this guy who wants it written into his prenuptial agreement that his wife has to get laser hair removal on all of her body hair except like the hair on her head and her eyebrows. Like anyone who has sex knows that sex and porn are completely different, and anyone who really thinks that their sex life is constantly going to be like something out of a porno needs to come back down to Earth.

I stopped watching porn due to the fact that I started to feel completely shit about my body. The fact that all the girls have no visible flaws such as stretchmarks and cellulite is completely unrealistic and fake. It's sad to know that a lot of guys expect that in a girl, and most girls don't fit those expectations. Not every girl will have big perky boobs and a nice ass while constantly waxing every part of her body. It's fucking ridiculous.

More on topic, I think sex is pretty important. I dated someone who wanted to wait until marriage, and the relationship didn't last but that wasn't because of the lack of sex, we were just too different. Without sex, really what's the point? I would much rather be just good friends. If someone couldn't fulfill my sexual needs I wouldn't stay with them. I would never want to be married to someone who can't please me. It'll cause too many problems in the relationship and it just won't last. I crave sex a lot, way too much to be honest. Although I can pleasure myself, I would obviously prefer the real thing. If I'm with someone who can't do that for me.. I'll get bored really fast and move on. I sometimes wish I didn't care so much about sex, but it's a part of me. I care a lot about it, and that's that.

It's not to say I'm shallow because I would never dump someone because of their dick size or anything, but I would dump someone if they don't find sex as appealing as I do, or if they are into shit that's too freaky for me like extreme bondage.

Fuck my lack of ability to make an organized post. :( I apologize for my thoughts being all over the place.

Besides the obvious, the topic of sex and the individual's views on it says a lot about the person's personality, morals, religion, etc. So in that sense... its pretty important.

    Well hello there.

Although I wouldn't really say it says a lot about the person tbh :o I almost find it to be completely independent :/

Like I said I don't know much about it. But the people who have no desire to have children probably spawned from this new wave of boyfriend/girlfriend relationships or found at a club which were better off staying that kind of a relationship. But with the tiny quirks they offer married couples you might want to tie the knot.

My parents have been married for over 30 years and I still don't like the idea of it. Whatever gave you the impression that I was spawned off a new wave era was clearly misguided. I think you're a smart guy Noit, just need to have a bit more world experience, and live life for a bit.

Ya know i think pornography is partly to blame, as most guys growing up tend to think women will be climaxing all over the place and screaming the house down and doing all sorts of dirty things and reality for alot of women is far from it haha

I do like the fact that apparently all women like double pentetration.

Sex is an important part of being human.. Not wanting sex could be a sign of an underlying problem physically or emotionally.

There are exceptions to the rule.. people are made differently... to some sex is just not pleasurable and they require stimulation in different forms.

I think sex is an important part of any relationship and should not be ignored it can strengthen relationships and brings closeness that cant be gotten any other way.
Sex is only 1 facet of a relationship and shouldn't be a "deal breaker".
If you truly love each other you find ways to make it work and thats what it should be about.

Seems like your struggling with some issues in your love life and if your partner is not satisfied then maybe you should talk.
The worst that will happen is that you'll both move on and find someone better suited for your needs, and if you work it out then even better.

Though I still don't think sex should be the main purpose of pursuing relationships, the standards these days seem to be as if having a girlfriend implies that you plan on/actively having sex with her (or him, whichever one is appropriate :p)

One thing that makes me cringe though is the whole "friends with benefits" gig that usually happens with younger couples...

While most of us associate sex with pleasure, and even in college (like, srsly) as an measure of someone's manliness, I'll consider myself as one of the few who isn't such a huge fan of it.

Not really sure who that second part was directed to :p I've only been in a relationship for a month so my sex life is fine tyvm xD

As much as sex can be used to bring people closer together (literally in people I guess xD), I think there are many different and more effective ways than sex.

Find it funny that people are astounded that I don't care about sex.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm not normal.

Yeah sex is definatly important for me in a relation, but I don't rush into it. I wouldn't have sex without loving the person, and It takes quite some time for me to realise that I love the person and want to continue with things. But waiting for some time is a good thing though, so you can build up some tension :D
I don't think I would break up over not getting sex for a while, except if has been a really long time without a good reason behind it and the partner refuses to explain and try to fix things. My cravings for it come and go really.. I've had times where I didn't want it for weeks, and at other times I want it multiple times per day. Can't really say what makes sex good or bad. I can be doing the exact same thing and enjoy it way more than time after that. Guess it's mostly related to feelings for me. Ofcourse if you just don't know what to do it's different, but that you can work on... I hope :p
Waiting for marriage would definately be a dealbreaker for me since I need to be intimate in that way with the person I love and I don't see marriage as a reason to wait for that. But that's just my opinion.

To the people where people where sex important but only after you love them:

What if they can't do it for whatever reason? Would that make you not love them anymore? :/

None of the above, Juupon said that everybody already knew I wasn't normal, but people posted reactions to my previous posts anyways.

Although, I can still say again I'm not normal in comparison to everyone else here, who else will come and openly say they have a bunch of girly figurines on their computer desk, cause I sure do.

I'd still love them. So long I can hug one and feel that she loves me, even though we can't be as intimate as I'd like, I'm completely fine with it.

^ and that's usually where other guys call me 'fag'.
