They used to but then TNT removed the perk due to people abusing it.
Heh, I was wondering about that... I only got two or three absolutely worthless random events when I had the birthday sidebar/theme last month. I was so mad as I deliberately got into Neopets again less than a week before the day. -_-

My birthday is coming up and of course I won't be on neopets that much but I was thinking would it be worth it to set up an auto-refresher in hopes of getting more random events? Has anyone ever had anything really awesome happen on their birthday?
I'm not sure if the increased chance of random events on your birthday are gone or not but instead of using an autorefresher you can just autobuy in shops and hope for luck in random events on your birthday. Last birthday of mine I got like 20 random events and one purple paint brush.

Well that's lame. Way to make my birthday completely useless on the internet TNT
How old are you turning?
I'm a little sad because I just turned 21 a few months ago, so there's not really any 'milestone' birthdays left.
..Unless I want to celebrate cheap car insurance at 25 anyway, hahah

That is, if you retire at all.

I'm turning 20. I don't really care for it. I'm just waiting for my 21st, it's going to be huge.
It better be epic.
Just don't wake up still drunk and then spend the rest of the day hurling until 2-3pm like I did

I love waking up still drunk! It's fun.
Unless you have a situation where you shouldn't be drunk anymore

I was actually supposed to work a double the next day.
Actually going out on my birthday was unplanned because we were going to wait until the next day because Thursdays are always dollar drink nights here.
So needless to say, things got out of hand and I was still puking when I walked into work the next morning

yeah, that's my idea of a NOT fun day
I work in a deli. I almost threw up every 2 minutes from the gross smells.

I wasn't hungover, but I was super nauseous after drinking then I went to work.

I work at a create-your-own-stirfry restaurant.
Part of the line has a section where you pick out the (raw) meat you want to be cooked and put in your stirfry.
Raw calimari especially is a big no-no when you're already nauseous
