What are some of your guys' plans for Thanksgiving?

I'm going back to my hometown for a hopefully fantastic home-cooked dinner. Hang out with family and later on meet up with some old friends. Then on Black Friday go out and snag some deals.

I get to spend Thanksgiving with my boyfriend's grandparents. Horrid, since they make me nervous and I swear they are disappointed because I'm not a little skinny white girl, blonde with blue eyes.

    Nothing.

Well way to contribute, fucker. Don't you guys have some sort of holiday where you eat quail or something? Or pheasant? That's like eating turkey I guess.

    Why aren't you?

Because the Aryan race died out with hitler. Didn't you know?

Brown hair with blue eyes is becoming the new trend.
(I'm going to stop getting off topic like this, to avoid Hitler chats, and political contraversy and such)

Unfortunately, I'm one of the unlucky ones with dark brown hair and brown eyes. ):

On topic, I'm going to Pennsylvania. Boo.

    Cooking, cooking, cooking.
I wish my dad wasnt single, dammit. I have to make a bunch of pies the night before for everyone then I have to cook our entire dinner, head to my friends to try deep fried turkey (fucking Americans, right?) then head over to my bfs for our collaboration. Thankfully, he can cook so I just gotta help a little and watch the miracle that is a man knowing what he is doing in the kitchen. He's actually grilling a ham too, which sounds nuts but in a kind of amazing way. What is it with men and BTU's anyways?
By 9pm, I'm sure I'll be playing baseball, getting smahed and then hopefully relaxing with some movies or show marathon of some kind.
I wish I had the balls to ask my dad to either do our Thanksgiving a day early, or a day late, it would make everything so much easier. :(
Fuck, I hate living at home again.

It's where Americans celebrate wiping out the Native Americans by doing what we do best, eating and getting fat.

We give thanks for what we are grateful for
And we give thanks to the natives for being nice enough to provide the opportunity for us to eradicate them and make good use of their land. STM made an interesting thread a bit back

My mom's family celebrated on Saturday because it was the only time my grandparents could come up from Florida. It was at my aunt's house, and everyone brought stuff, so I made some cookies, my mom brought some stuff, and my boyfriend came along with us. Thursday I'll be going with my dad and possibly my sister to his sister's house. It'll just be us, my aunt, her partner and their two daughters. That will hopefully be earlier in the day, so I'll go over Matt's after, eat dessert or something, and smoke/drink with his cousins. I have to work Black Friday, but not until the afternoon.
