Just think about those times you tried to play games for neopoints - how long it would take
Those 300k SS scores take like a couple of hours to actually send. I highly doubt that people play up to 6 hours a day just to make 300k.

On top of that, how many people can actually compete with AB's especially the hundreds of people AB-ing everyday?

It is quite easy to spot Aber. Search for bag of peanuts or expensive faerie dolls. You see a surprising number of new accounts having rare items.
