Alright, so I don't play the game. What would you find useful in an Attic ABer?

It loads a list from our database of all items with the allowed rarity range, and lets you specify what bottom limit you want on the profitability of your items, or you can load your own manual list like always.

For the timing, this is what I have right now: It stays Main Shop ABing or Igloo'ing until the correct minute rolls around, and then it starts refreshing at whatever second past the minute you set it to (I have it so you can set from :XX to :XX seconds past the minute NST in the settings). The NST timer is extremely accurate, since I don't let the program do the counting, I let the OS do it. All the program computes are deltas between the server time and the local system time to map the OS time to NST. I'm not sure how important super accurate timing is, because I'm still not entirely convinced that it restocks right at :53 or :54.

I will also have the option to set a custom wait time for the Attic specifically, since we know approximately when it will fill up (seems to be :53 or :54 past the minute according to my tests, but the damn thing restocks so little that I had to wait overnight to get this data and it's not even conclusive). So you can set it to refresh extremely quickly in there during the time you specify (this will be restricted for non-advanced members).

I think an option to automatically stop the AB after you buy your 5th item would be nice, since you're only allowed to buy 5 items a day.

It will do that anyways, and reset the counter at midnight. Is that when it resets, midnight NST?

(Same with the Igloo in v1.3.0)

It will be a part of Abrosia, so naturally.

Yes, that's when everything resets.
Also, as a side note, my experiences with the AAA also show that it refreshes on the :53, in case you cared :3.

In that case, feel free to set the Attic part to start refreshing at :53 in the program. :p Like I said, the timer seems to be pretty good.

It sounds great :)

I restock at the Attic almost every day and sometimes I refresh at :52/:53 and there would be maybe 6 items on the page, I refresh again at about :55 and there's almost a full page :/ I don't know if that's any use though.

One question, will this be available for Mac OS X? :)

It's a part of Abrosia, so yes.

And it sounds like I should just keep the second range thing. You guys can play around with the settings. :p

Yeah, like I say, to maximize the amount of main shop ABing and iglooing that can be done by Abrosia, I will only start refreshing that Attic in the designated "7 minute" timeslots. Whatever seconds past NST you want to start refreshing is up to you. :p Should technically be :53, but some people may want to start earlier.

Looking forward to this!

Something I would find useful is different min profit buys for main shops and attic since with the attic you only get 5 buys per day and of these 5 buys most people would probably rather have a higher min profit than a measly 5k when there are plenty of UBs that get restocked there. Any idea what "safe" buy times are for the attic?

Edit: Just another reason there should be a different min profit because 3/5 of my buys today have been junk and the only thing keeping the other 2 buys from not being junk is that I'm considering buying them out and inflating them, except inflated items are a pain to get rid of.

I think the AAA ab in abrosia should rs shops like normal but when it comes time for that attic restock it does 2 refreshes at attic. If it stocked buys like normal, if it doesnt then whatever, either way, it resumes to the regular rs'ing afterwards.

Maybe one thing you could do is let us choose how it target item - so either most profitable / which item comes first
I know that Abrosia does that now - if you let the database run then it'll go for most profitable, if it's the list then whichever item comes first but I don't know if it's doable for the AAA

I think that is going to be great about this is that we'll actually get information about the Attic. When I try to rs there, it seems like sometimes - there's a pattern in the items restocked. Like one time, I refreshed and there was a lot of draik stuff (no egg unfortunately) but a few draik clothings, and a draik plushie. I figured 5 or so items that all ave to do with draik can't just be a coincidence. Maybe, there's some underlying trend that we'll see.

I noticed that pattern as well. I usually find 4-8 items in an RS are to do with a certain species - clothing, plushies, books and stamps. I don't notice it in every RS, but I do see it a good bit.

I was thinking exactly this and was about to post until Noit beat me to it. I really like this idea, having the option to check out the AAA without entirely committing.

It's really not that hard to just click upgrade shop like 100 times then leave it at shop size 100 forever :/
I think at some point, there should be a dividing line about what a program should or should not do. If you're going to have programs that do every single thing in a game for you, is there really a reason for playing?
