Thank you

Yeah people own them, just very few people and usually only those who have a lot of land. We will be moving to about a 1 acre property here hopefully soon (maybe even 5 acre) but even here we have a very large backyard.
They have a wild streak in them, but you can tell they're domesticated more and more as the generations go on in their family and they become further away from their wild ancestors. They're like dogs but they act like wolves. I dont know how to explain it better lol. Like they howl, they hunt... Umm... Everything a wolf does basically. I find it easier to read wolves than I do dogs. I watch Xael and I know what every motion means. Everything they do is so different from dogs but it means the same thing. You can totally tell who he knows and likes and respects in this house vs those he really doesn't know and is a little weary of. You can pick out who is what rank just by how Xael acts around them. He has placed Matt and I as his alphas with him considered as beta. Our Jindo is a rank lower than him. One guy in this house that I live with is Omega. A complete stranger to Xael and he will not associate with him less he has to. You can tell what they're thinking like clock work.
Snow will be chewing on one of her toys but staring at Matt's feet while he's on the computer and you can see the whole plan run through her head. "I'm gonna chew on this till they stop watching me.... Then I'll pounce those things!" and she totally does it like that too. They're extremely easy to read. Xael learned how to open our SLIDING GLASS DOOR (not just a regular door) at three months old. They mimic those they follow and consider their leaders and most cherished. When they really want something they'll watch you and learn how you get it and they'll copy you when you aren't looking.
We feed them normal dog food. I've been feeding them Ol' Roy High Preformance

They get meat every now and then, once in a blue moon, as a treat though.
They're very loyal. Once I had Xael inside the house and he ran into the living room. I was in the next two rooms over and I figured he'd be fine in the living room alone. Bout 10 minutes later I havne't heard a thing from him the whole time so I go to check on him and the front door was left open. I'm freaking out as I run outside worried out of my mind. Here he comes from our front lawn bounding towards me with that look like, "Hey mom! I was waiting for you to join me on our walk!" lol
Even at 3 months old when I FIRST got him, the first few days I was able to walk down Main Street (A little shopping center where I live) with him following behind no leash. Snow does the same thing now. She absolutely ADORES Matt.
They'll adapt to moving of course. Timbers have a harder time with ANYTHING that changes though and you can tell when somethings up or something is gonna happen if you watch when they go to the bathroom. If one little thing changes they'll get the runs sorta. It just makes them uneasy but they eventually adjust just fine to it.
Aw I'm sorry D=
I'm sure you will be able to have a dog eventually

If you want a very large dog there's a specialized breed people are trying to keep going called the Giant Malamute. They're HUGE!
Here's what I found just searching google

I believe this was a 6 week old puppy. I can't remember the exact age

And this is a bearded dragon

If you've ever seen the movie "Holes" they use these guys as that "poisonous lizard". They really aren't poisonous though

Yeah any progress is good

He used to be in the Army but never got therapy. I was gonna get him to start going when we got up the money but this works just as well!
