I love this topic. oh yes.

I guess you can call me a person who dresses like a hipster lately, but I despise labeling people with that word.
I frequent Urban Outfitters. my closet consists of V-necks, tons and tons of cardigans, band T-shirts, skirts, dress shirts, open sweaters, coats, scarves, flannel... -___-
I'm usually wearing grey, black, brown, and the occasional pink or white - I'm a very neutral person in terms of color.
I dress in a formal way, but with a messiness and comfortableness that borders the typical indie-music loving loser, hah.
I guess you can look at some of the stuff on lookbook.nu - I get my styles out of there sometimes.

I should stop talking before someone labels me as a hipster.

    Example?

Hmm. Pin-striped tank with cream hemp mesh shirt. Brown, long leather jacket. Fingerless lace gloves, boot cut jeans, doc martens and a old fashioned (real) cameo necklace.

Ah, style. The thing that actually made me really well known in high school. I went through this phase of wearing nothing but dresses for like 2 years. And they weren't just little boring sun dresses. My favorites included bright, puffy dresses. I was uber cute. Then in the winter I'd wear sweater dresses with turtlenecks. I actually have a lot of photos of them, meaning like all the dresses, if anyone cares to see. Then by the end of my junior year I moved on to a lot of skirts, then now my senior year I'm pretty much only wearing jeans again. Although, it is currently 4:30 am and I got up early to find a cute dress to wear today, but I think it's only because I have an audition today and subconsciously I want to look good.
Oh, and as for brands, they always ranged really wide. I have dresses from thrift stores to Abercrombie and Fitch. Obviously Abercrombie being the normal, comfortable end.
Shoes, I only wear ballet flats. So, I don't own any socks. During football season, I had to buy a whole new pack for cheerleading, but I've lost every single pair by the end of the season. Sucks when I'll actually need socks one day.

That's adorable. Puffy dresses are so cute! Good luck with your audition. What's it for?

Aw, thank you! I'm auditioning against 4 of my closest friends who are all altos for the alto part in the trio to be sent to be judged at Literary. It sucks to have to compete against all of them, but I think I have a fair chance. :p

I do agree that some models can be ugly but I think the ones I posted are pretty damn good looking

    What shoes look better?

Late reply, but I own 3 pairs of converse. I also like certain types of vans.

I don't have any style. Whatever fits my taste and doesn't look awful or cliche, and has a nice colour, i'll put it on.

Gas masks, they are the newest rage!

Actually flu masks are the rage in China.. In some parts its actually a style where they decorate them and stuff haha... in Vancouver we have a lot of immigrants and they wear them out in public.

It's kind of weird and funny. But props to them of not being self-conscious

Ya man I noticed that on a couple older people. Should I be concerned when I see it? Or is it them being paranoid?

Are you and your friends part of an alto gang or something? I have no idea what Literary is in this instance, but I hope you get to go and be judged!

i think shopping at a specific brand is stupid and is label whoring, i dont know. i just buy clothes from anywhere. i like to buy second hand in thrift stores. not because i'm poor but because i'm sick of the same old shit i find in the mall.

    i guess i shop a lot at h&m, zara and asos.com

    It's them being paranoid haha....

It's just that they come from places that make them bit of germa-phobes...

I guess a benefit is that they won't ever breathe on you :)
