It's probably because Draiks and dragons and people like that kind of stuff. They are rare, and that's sort of an incentive. I'm not a fan of draiks at all though. imo, eyries and the best looking pets.

Yea, thats true. I wanted one when I was a kid because I was all, omg! Draiks are like dragons! I totally want one!! /superficial.

I'm not so hyped up on draiks anymore, maybe cause their rarity drove me away. Still, a mutant draik is pretty kickass :3

draiks don't look good?

ok...

[Dreww]

Of those four draiks, the only one I like is the plain maraquan one. The rest have too much going on for my liking.

I think i liked the old draik pose better. Their hands. its like they're supposed to be holding spears or something ;x

yeah the hands, is something that i don't like, too. but with spears, they look great ^^

i think draiks are pretty cool pets to customise and a lot of colours come with awsome pb clothes. well, i'm def pro draik.

[BERRIES]

Oh!!! I like the faerie draik!! They look cuter now, compared to last time. My image of them has changed! I wouldn't mind having a Draik! Hope Lab Ray zaps my Kiko (was a Shoyru).

[Barophobia]

I love draiks too- but only if they're maraquan.

[AyoForYayo]

Draiks are my favorite neopet.
Not so much because they are so rare yada yada yada but I love customizing my pets and they have one of the best body types for customizing out of all the neopets

Plus dragons are awesome :3

Ha! Well, now I know I like two of the converted draiks

[Persuasion]

Agreed, they're rare and a sign of wealth just to have them

These are not that bad but....

not fat dragons, chubby dragons haha..

Call me old fashioned but I like the plain mutant Draik look.. it make's it look more fierce and realistic although Id never spend that much on transforming my pet =p

[Heatherrm]

I really love UC Faerie Draiks.

[Mishelle]

Because they're rare and they're avatar pets. All of the high end avatar pets are pretty expensive/sought after. A draik definitely isn't my dream pet, but I wouldn't turn one down either.

yea I preferred the old draiks. Infact i preferred the old neopets. they looked....less cute. Ah well, can't blame. It is a kid's site afterall =\

The Old Grarrl was Awesome. The New Grarrl now just looks like it's trying to smile, but can't, and is BADDDDD.

[equitatus]

They give you an avatar.
The methods to get them are through morphing potions and eggs....both which restock VERY rarely.
As a result, rare item plus avatar= mucho $$$$$$$
