I was on 3volutions and I knew Codex was a competing site, and since registrations were almost always closed, I really wanted to join to see what all of the fuss was about.

Same here. I thought Codex was the better community. =)

Wow haven't been on Codex in ages. I started off as a little kid looking for programs, at the time neocodex was ncodex.com (I think). I then grew bored of neopets and stayed for the general community and did a little graphics on the side. I haven't been active in years, this is the first time I've been on in probably a year.

I played a long time ago, cheating my way through. Then I quit for a 5 year hiatus... When I got back, I tried to find some of the old forums I was active in. It was a desert. Some of them were wiped off the face of this earth. A couple others, I was able to log in to, but I could tell people were only posting once a week or so.

Anyway, I looked for a new site to plant my feet in, and Neocodex was there. Now I regret not joining it way back in the day... but what can you do?

I heard about NeoCodex on NeoFriends and decided to give it a shot. I used to be a part of Gaming Gutter and since the site went kaput, I wanted to find a replacement.

Migrated to weird forum.
Migrated to IPB.I joined.

To expand on that,



I met RareDareDevil on the MSN Groups, we posted programs on it, then RDD met Hydrogen and they went on to form Neocodex. I joined not long after, February 20-(something), 2004.

Yeah, pretty much. Neofriends is okay, but I think you need to outright pay to access any of their programs. Plus I was never very active there.
