All these trolls..but seriously Sarah Palin and her opponent in June of 2010 had a campaign and day out shooting an M16 with a target at her head. "Get on Target for Victory in November Help remove Gabrielle Giffords from office, Shoot a fully automatic M16 with Jesse Kelly"
I mean seriously, there is such a thing as a domestic terrorist...I am starting to believe its not race anymore but rich vs poor...i.e.Rich manip. the poor into chaos.
EDIT: Death Threats
She has been receiving viscious stuff supposedly from the Tea Party..
Tea Party = Conservitive Terrorists...They despise the Constitution and will resort to arms..Many conservatives can talk discourse, but there are also many who are on the fringe...These people are unstable and a threat to America's soverignty. Not to say there aren't Leftist Terrorists either...I am an American, born here, but of ethnic parents...I love my country but I also can criticize it like crazy...Party ideologies shouldn't matter..this was an attack against an instiution of democracy...As much as I hate the Tea Party/Cons. they are allowed all proctections of free speech and what not as long as it does not become an imminent threat

I think tea partiers are the ones who follow the constitution the closest. What makes you say otherwise?

Because those are the relevant facts. Her religion, her politics, and THE FACT THAT SHE HOLDS OFFICE AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL OF OUR GOVERNMENT. Wishing her to die is in pretty bad taste.Did the jewish liberal congresswoman die yet?
PS, the relevant facts from my POV are shouted at you, just for emphasis, because I don't think you've found out yet just how much contempt I have for you.

That's amazing how a person can survive a point blank shot. Our medical technology is amazing. Will she have any lasting symptoms after the recovery?
Nunc I know we don't have to like everyone but that was a bit rude. No matter who it is, a life is a life.

This had nothing to do with political partisanship
Ya. His views are weird. Supports the return to the gold standard, anti-federalist and his favourite books are Mein Kampf, We the Living, Plato's Republic and the Communist Manifesto
Weird stuff

What the fuck are you talking about? Have you ever been to any of the Tea Parties? Also, since when do they despise the constitution?
It's rhetoric like this that really is disturbing to me... that we can take such a tragic event and spin it into the demonization of an entire group of people. It's painting people with such a broad brush that leads to tragedies such as genocide.
Why don't we, instead of dividing on party lines over such a tragedy, we instead unite and work together and tone down the rhetoric all around?
and for the record, I don't believe the shooters motives have been made clear. I did see some information from the guys facebook page with him spouting some conservative principles, but his motives have not been confirmed. This congresswoman was actually a republican before she switched parties. A lot of her views are right wing, in fact.
Essentially what I'm saying here, is that by saying that all tea party members are like this is the exact same thing as saying that all muslims hate america and are terrorists. Let's stop with the bullshit and focus first on the tragedy at hand and not the political spin we can place on it. =/
What rhetoric? The truth? The tea party movement is fully behind and supporting the abolishment of the 14th Amendment. This isn't rhetoric, but the the truth that they are fighting for.

The Fourteenth Amendment (Amendment XIV) to the United States Constitution was adopted on July 9, 1868 as one of the Reconstruction Amendments.
Its Citizenship Clause provides a broad definition of citizenship that overruled the decision in Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857), which held that blacks could not be citizens of the United States.
Its Due Process Clause prohibits state and local governments from depriving persons of life, liberty, or property without certain steps being taken. This clause has been used to make most of the Bill of Rights applicable to the states, as well as to recognize substantive and procedural rights.
Does it have to do with something about illegal immigration? I've never heard of this before

All has to do with anchor babies.....Those who are born within the borders of America, even though the parents are not citizens, are therefore american born citizens..
The literal wording is also subject to substantive and procedural due rights.

Yeah, Cody... but it was listed with a gunsight on it.The so called "hitlist" was simply listing it as a district that the tea party had a good chance of taking over in the 2010 election and that money and support should go to focus in on.
I'm not saying there's a causal link here, but at the very least, you have to admit that that's in bad taste.

Alright... now I'm going to quote your original post.
First thing I'd like to address, the Tea party has NOTHING to do with these anchor baby/anti-14th amendment arguments. Tea stands for Taxed Enough Already. Although there may be neo-cons who inhabit the tea party as well, the Tea Party has zero to do with this.
I lied, this is my last point, WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS SHOOTING HAVE TO DO WITH ANCHOR BABIES?!?!
Sincerely,
Cody
Unfornately, most people have forgotten what the Tea party was founded for i.e smaller gov, less spending/taxes, and the neo-cons have kinda hijacked it it advance their own opinions, so even though the ideals of the Tea party may not have been for anchor babies, now some of the people in the party now supports this kind of legislation, and the other members kinda just go along with it....
Also....the Tea Party loves parts of the Constitution...not all of it.

First off, the gunmen was a crazed mentally depraved individual. It is quite sad but all I am saying, if he was or was not affiliated with the Tea Party, is that the rhetoric out there is pretty damaging...That is what I meant in being pushed by the Tea Party.
"Tea stands for Taxed Enough Already."
~ That's fine enough, but the Tea Party has evolved into something much more, a grassroots organization like this has had it's main premise with taxes, but its not the case anymore.
"Because the constitution is a living document it is subject to changes(amendments). "
I agree that its a living doucument but Tea Partiers and strict originalists would disagree with you. They want a strict intereprtation, to say that it is a living doucument requires us to base our laws and jurisprudence of the Constituion with how our society is in this time period.
"Also, the citizenship clause of the 14th amendment must be examined within the frame of time it was enacted. "
~ This is not a living document then, it is an originalist p.o.v. I can agree that calling all Tea Partiers terrorists was a bit out of line, but like I said there are the fringes who are high ranking or rather influential members in the Party. And you know what, for the last 8 years liberals/republicans/moderates whoever disagreed and voiced their opposition in political discourse against Bush were called Terrorists/Traitors/Liberal Scum/etc. Yet, now Obama is in power, these people who do the same are "Patriotic." Bullshit.
"This should be a time of mourning in our country for those who have lost their lives and certainly not the time to point fingers before the smoke has even settled."
~ I agree to an extant, even though this individual was mentanlly unsound and simply stating that such volatile rhteroic cannot be helping. And when you talk about the 14th Amendment, I agree each provision is different than Anchor Babies, but its overall still the same. What you say about Native Americans though is false..It's true certain Senators wanted to exclude them, but later Court Cases changed this. It is also important to note that if they do not leave their tribes, then they have their own form of governance. but The 14th Amendment were intended by the framers to extend the jurisdiction and protection of federal courts to all rights recognized by the Constitution and Bill of Rights against actions by state government.
First, "any law" includes the state constitution, which is its supreme law, subject to the U.S. Constitution. So no state can infringe on the rights of the people...
"Do you know, where does this phrase 'separation of church and state' come from?...The exact phrase 'seperation of church and state' came out of Adolph Hitler's mouth, that's where it comes from. So the next time your liberal friends talk about the seperation of Church and State, ask them why they're Nazis." ~ Glen Urquhart (tea party backed member for Delware, he lost
"He has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of humanity." ~ Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ, member of the Tea Party Caucus)
“I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I’ll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out.” ~ Sharon Angle, (R-NV, Senate Candidate, Tea Party Backed)

He has some sickly reasoning too...
"I can't trust the current government because of fabrications. The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar"
"If you call me a terrorist then the argument to call me a terrorist is Ad hominem," "What's government if words don't have meaning?"
"If the living space is able to maintain the crews life at a temperature of -454F then the human body is alive in the NASA Space Shuttle. The human body isn't alive in the NASA Space Shuttle. Thus, the living space isn't able to maintain the crews life at a temperature of -454F."
"every human who's mentally capable is always able to be treasurer of their new currency," and that "if the property owners and government officials are no longer in ownership of their land and laws from a revolution then the revolutionary's from the revolution are in control of the land and laws."

But yea firearms are too easy to obtain especially at gun shows...I forsee more instances of inane violence happening in which it could have either been prevented or rather at least partially stopped in such ways as how this happened...
That sucks for mental illness care...I know in Az already 2 people died because they weren't given organs..They couldn't afford it and died...quite sad.
