Yeeeeah. My least favourite part is the weird rules which make you actively look for offensive things in normal phrases such as "as bad as", "[anything ending in t] it" and so on.This basically. The extreme kiddie friendliness (on a college student based site mind you) kinda pisses me off.

Well, you obviously said something smart! Next time you better blindly agree with them.Oh right. Reason why I hate posting on the boards:
....I don't even remember what I said.
Editted: Yea I kinda forgot to erase the name.
As much as I hate the community, I'm attracted by the repulsion. In sorts, I long for my participation in the BD Chat of past (and the BD Chat of the past itself).

Out of curiosity, because the BD Chat seems to be mentioned a lot: what is (or was) so great about it?As much as I hate the community, I'm attracted by the repulsion. In sorts, I long for my participation in the BD Chat of past (and the BD Chat of the past itself).

Friendships. If not for the BD Chat and later Slopdog, I would not have the same persona online, or one at all. It didn't need anything more than a large, active playerbase for new bonds.Out of curiosity, because the BD Chat seems to be mentioned a lot: what is (or was) so great about it?

As for the boards though, I usually just stick to the Newbies board. Some trolls there, but at least not so hectic. Or I'll lurk around the Writers Neoboard when I feel like watching people being literate. Sort of.

I went to the writers board once, but I didn't find it too literate. Only one of the threads I can remember was actually about writing and the rest were glorified "how was your day" threads.
To be honest, it feels like it has the highest population of kids, at least base on the writing. It looks like a bunch of 13-year-olds with endless confidence on the quality of their writing and to-be-published books. Or they could be just college students writing badly, I don't know.
It was a long time since I went there though. Kids might have evaporated.

A few years back it was a lot of Kingdom Hearts sfw fanfic, so I imagine it's probably whatever series/game is popular with the kids these days.
AHHHH!!! INUYASHA!! Kill it with mo-fuggin fire!

Playing the game helps you not getting frozen.
Try to get some avatars legitly, get into some site events there like the plots, doing some dailies, etc.
Actually I don't see the fun on playing it if it were not for the community. I'm not talking about some retards on the forums, but about my friends there and my guild mates.

The community is definitely what you make it to be. It's vast enough to fit in everyone in their own niche.Playing the game helps you not getting frozen.

Thing is, I only ever post the WC challenge thread, asking people to play snow muncher with me D:
(though there was this one time i was complaining about Wrath of the Snowager being completely glitched up, but I made a thread for that.)
Wha-?

I hate that game right now. It is the most poorly designed game they have made yet. The game has lives but scores do not save until after you start the next round, so dying resets the entire round and item count. Insta-powerdowns after you corner the chia when he's down annoyed me so much. At least have it wait half a second so I can see the damn powerdown.

Speaking of in things, Harry Potter doesn't seem to be dying out, despite all the books already released. 1/5 guilds advertising on the guild board is Harry Potter associated.
Well. With a Very Potter Musical (that shit is awesome) and the movies still coming and all that shit I'm not surprised. Harry Potter ftw!
