I thought hookah was another word for hooker

What's so great about hookah, it just tastes of stuff or am I missing something?

it's flavored tobacco. some say it's better than smoking cigs because all the additives aren't in them (it's just tobacco leaves). others say it's worse for you because you spend 2 hours in a hookah bar whereas you'd spend 3 min smoking a cigarette. of course, i saw everything in moderation. but there are some cool flavors, like watermelon, apple, mint, etc =)

your missing alot you can get high from it my brother did once he was buzzing proper ^^ plus its a nice time to socialize get friends round and smoke chill

tbh people smoke more cigs then 1 a day and its more harmful
and people dont spend 2hours smoking straight of hookah. yes it will go for that long but it will have breaks and youll have to stop and renew the coal

Another reason hookah is safer than cigarettes is the water filtration... that shit will get caught up in the water and not make it into your lungs..

But yeah... everything in moderation, I suppose.

Seems like a lot of you guys like to get high, guess it is a lot more common than I thought. I've always thought smoking etc is bad so avoid doing stuff like this.

well you dont get high all the time just if you smoke alot and if its like your first time afterwards your body gets used to it

lol... It's not "getting high." Any high you may get is just a nicotine buzz... I've never smoked a cigarette and said "Damn I'm buzzed!"

I've smoked a few cigarettes and didn't feel anything except a rough throat...

I didn't mean that they were smoking hookah for two hours straight, but if you're at a hookah bar (I know, some people use hookah at home so this doesn't apply to them), you're getting "second hand" smoke from everyone else at the bar for 2 hours straight, whereas normally, when you smoke a cigarette, you're inhaling that crap for a few minutes and then the air is normal (unless you work in a casino or something)

yeh but hookah is like less dangerous but people tend to do it for longer. but cigs are more dangerous but smoke for a less time
both people usually smoke for their entire life like my grandad hes nearly 90 and smokes all day all night all he does tbh.
dont forget people dont go to sheesha cafes everyday probably go once maybe twice a week. and i gotta say its probably less addictive

Well, consider your grandpa lucky. The stats are something like 90% of all people who die of lung cancer were smokers.... but only 10% of smokers get lung cancer. He was probably in the 90% that didn't get lung cancer.

its similar to tabbaco there is also water and a coal (which is lighted ofc)

It's like a bong, except worse. I wouldn't use it to smoke weed. It's more of a thing just for fun.

Some smoke shops have hookahs right in the shop... and will let you rent it to try out there tobacco blends.

My favorite thing to add to the base is just honey. Honey in the water before you add ice, makes for thick, sweet smoke.

I need to try this ASAP lol.
Double apple or watermelon are good flavors.
