Ever since harry potter and lord of the rings I can't find a lot of books that fit my interests

I advice you to read Dune (6 tomes or 7 !) by Frank Herbert. Maybe it will fits your interests. Since you read Lord of the rings, did you read bilbo the Hobbit, the Silmarillon by Tolkien two ? I'll try to remember and find you other books fantasy/science fiction that you may like, right now I only know the names in French
