I know Neopets is a pretty good game - and some people have quit and moved on, but what makes you continue to play Neopets? Is it the games? The plots, or?

The Battledome... (I really like the plots too - my girlfriend got me into Neopets, and it is really fun competing with her)!
The Boards, just to laugh at folk.
...AND to make lots of neopoints!

At this moment in time I'm not really sure... it used to be customisation but now I've discovered UC pets I may well need new focus!

It's more entertaining than watching tv imo.
I just play when I'm home instead of watching Jersey Shore like some other people do or playing CoD

    idk~

I don't know. I like the site, collecting neopoints, collecting pretty items that are just pixels. A lot of games available for when you are bored :)

^ What he said. Plus neo is good in that there's all sorts of things to do. I can collect pets, stamps, cards, gallery items and train my pets so I don't really get bored of it as fast as other sites

I've been asking myself that question for years. I've been playing this game on-and-off for ten years and don't really know why I still play. Old habits die hard, I guess. I'm sure I'll quit again for months or a year eventually, but having Abrosia definitely makes it easier to continue playing.

Mmm... well...before I used other to get a Krawk, it was the ultimate goal of getting a Krawk.

Now it's the ultimate goal of training him!

I really don't know. My hubby wonders the same thing. :p I've been playing on and off for 8 years. I don't know what keeps me there, but I like the site.

I used to actually enjoy it a few years back. When it was easier to make neopoints and all the pets were so pretty (I loooove old greys). Now I just play it because I have way too much free time and I get bored really easily.

I always enjoyed collecting neopoints just for the sake of having them. I like big bank accounts :D

the game becomes so addictive because it allows for the possibility to continually succeed past a certain point, unlike most games in which you cap out or finish after a relatively short amount of time. In addition, it is difficult to succeed because you are pitted against others, not computers, which makes us want to win more

It's, honestly, a way for me to escape life.

I try to leave for a while, but I always seem to be drawn back.

Maybe it's just a comforting thing...since I've known this site it's whole life *sage nod*

the only reason I still play is to get more items for my gallery.
if a new fuzzle items comes out, I must have it!
    childhood nostalgia.

After all this time, it serves as a nice hobby when I'm not out taking photos. I find daily activities like rsing, battling and such to be relaxing.

For the most part I've grown out of it, but I used to really enjoy the boards, avatar collecting, and especially the really difficult, puzzling plots ( like the Mystery Island one - that was seriously the coolest thing).

Now, just the stock market and the appeal of cheating, haha.
