I dont really get why people spend so much on stamps... id rather use the money and customize my neopets or collect something reasonably cheaper... stamps are not the way to go... unless you have nps to burn :<

i do respect if someone has a Stamp avatar more then SuAP seeing as stamp cant be lent etc
then again i think how much work and effort did they put in to get that many nps and complete the collection

Back in the day, not very hard. Maybe 10 mil for a complete set.

Now it's like 500 mil for certain stamps

Yeah some people are insane and are willing to actually use the stamps though. Like... seriously? I could live off very comfortable for like 3 months with that money xD

This is what I do. I collect stamps, but I'd rather pay to have them in my gallery and have the ability to resell them should I so choose.

I really wouldn't care at all if I have any of the stamp avatars. With the riskiness of AB'ing it'd be a huge money waste to get one for me xD

The last time this stamp was sold, it went for 11 mil - however, this was a few years back, and none have been sold since. It has only previously been released as Lenny Conundrum prize in 2002, so supplies are incredibly limited. This is literally the first time in years one has been available for purchase (at least in the public gaze), which explains the crazy prices.

plus if you have stamps in your gallery more people see. I visit more galleries then stamp collections to be honest i dont even check how many stamps people have

I sometimes buy all the cheap stamps (like all 1k or less) and then put them in my album so I look more legit hurr hurr

I'd only get a stamp avatar if I planned on going fully legit afterwards. I'm sure it wouldn't even be a big deal at that point, anyway, because if I could afford to sink hundreds of millions on stamps, then I can afford to go legit.
