Just a thought though.

It's not like it has to be done today, so you can stretch it out over the next couple weeks. You still have to put a little work into it, though

anyone know roughly how long one level takes? or does it vary? I've never played habitarium before and never intended to..until it became a DD challenge

good news: if you change your language to Chinese or Japanese or Italian or Korean, you can play Itchy Invasion rather than petpetpet thing. though you cannot participate in NC challenge

A couple of tips to people who are starting out on Habitarium from Level 1:
1. Contrary the the opinions of others, keeping the window open as long as possible DOES making you gather resources more quickly.
2. Blocking off all of the entrances to your storage cuts down on the animation time while still allowing you to gather resources at the same rate
3. Discarding eggs is a fast way to get experience, so get your nesters laying eggs as fast as possible.

Also, if you plan on keeping at this until later, only be mining wood, mud, and stone at all times.

EDIT: If you're only playing Habitarium for the purposes of this challenge, egg laying is not the way to go. It'll take about 2 hours for your first egg, and you could have already beaten the challenge by then if you just had them mining. A little shortcut through this is to find a Neofriend that is a high level that has extra structures and eggs. If they gift you the structures, you don't need to take mining and can build them right away, which gives you a ton of experience once the building is finished.

Finished challenge, starting from scratch, within 1 hour. Cheated a little by gifting myself a building, but it wouldn't have taken that much longer anyway.
