Personally I'd be stunned if half of the people grumbling on that board hadn't cheated at least once. That idiot babbling about destroying score senders is the most precious little moron of the bunch, though. I just wanna feed it a treat.

i had a look at their board convo, and apparently the main instigator has been analysing the high score tables for some time and has statistics on how many cheaters have been frozen after being reported etc...

when i played legit, it used to drive me crazy that the top 3 scores for spell-or-starve every month were actually mathematically impossible
i once sent TNT an explanation, with very carefully explained mathematics for how it is literally impossible to score what they were getting
they did absolutely nothing

then it occurred to me that with all the other injustice in the world, i was letting myself get worked up over people stealing pixels...

The guy claiming to "analyze" scores has an extremely simple method. Is the score possible in the game? No? Cheater. Is the score possible in the game? Yes? Assume they're cheating on something else and don't stop till you find it.

It's not really analysis so much as it is having waaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much free time.

LOL I remember when I first started cheating on Faerie Bubbles with CheatEngine. There was a cheat to change all the bubbles to a single color, so one shot always beats the level and leads to a huge bonus. I don't remember the exact numbers, but the story was something like: Play 4 levels like this, and you're just under the review score and send it in to win the World Challenge (which happened every hour back in those days). If you played 4 levels like this, your score was EXACTLY 2056 (or something)... the funny thing is, right after score reset, EVERYONE on the high score table's score would be EXACTLY 2056. Hmmm... are they cheating? Maybe it's all just a huge coincidence
