healthy, speeds up sugar metabolism, and makings eating healthy rewarding.
I bought some with a friend and she said she lost 8 lbs after a 3 weeks with no diet change. I haven't messed with them because I have been sick and don't really remember to.

yup, the advantage of most of those is that they use your own body as resistance, so your current er... proportions... actually increase the benefit of each repYou don't need to buy weights to lose that extra flab. Simple workouts like lunges, up-downs, squats, pushup, pullups, walking/running etc. If you have problems with your weight go look in the mirror that should give you damn good motivation to lose weight, or think about the future implication like the health risks. But first find a way to resolve your personal issues, and the whole exercise part can help you think clearer. This is not a short term goal remember that...this has to be a effort made everyday to lose weight and keep that weight off
remember that it' more important to increase muscle tone than to lose mass; the more toned your skeletal muscles,s the higher your basic metabolic rate, so that you will be burning more calorie just by being alive

Exactly. It annoys me when people ask for products that just make them loose it....your goal is to not be lazy but you're trying to get out of working out?

2- If there's no Gym where you live, find a sport to keep you entertained when you practice it, while you're burning calories. You can't run, but can you dance for example?

is cecil in a rural area or something? =/ 2 times a month wouldn't really be enough to make you lose weight, unless you combine it with other aerobic training.
how do you fare with slower, light intensity exercises like yoga & pilates? I can vouch for pilates making you lose weight and toning muscles, but I haven't done yoga on a long term basis to see results =p
I can vouch for yoga toning muscle. I've never exercised to lose weight, so I don't know about that.
My sister lost 100 pounds (about 45kg) last year by cutting soda out of her diet, eating way healthier, and doing little things like parking far away from where she's going so she has to walk, and walking her daughter to the bus stop.

yup--a million things, all day long every day, is far superior to just adding or subtracting one thingI can vouch for yoga toning muscle. I've never exercised to lose weight, so I don't know about that.

lifestyle change will lead to body composition change

I.e: If your goal weight is 110 lbs, multiply that by 10 (110*10= 1100), so eat 1100 calories a day, and you will lose weight.
And the whole "eating less than 2500 calories a day is unhealthy" is BS. Take a multi-vitamin and make sure you're eating the right nutrients that you need and you'll be golden.
