Hi my fellow codexians. I need your valued input. Does the dark scroll butotn look better or the light scroll button look better.

Definately dark mate. It looks too plain if you use the light version. Doesnt detract from the intended function of what you have presented either.

if your intention is to really emphasize the scroller then definitely the dark is better, plus it appears that your emphasizing all parts of the mouse here, which in any case, the dark does a better job of showing the scroller

i think without a doubt the dark is better, it kinda emphasises that there is another function to the mouse but it doesnt stand out too much so that you would think that it is purely about the scroll

it is your design after all =p so if you were to choose light its not like anyone could hold it against you. But if it is to please others i think black seems to be the census according to the polls!

Dark looks better than the light one for sure. As stated above the white looks too bland;)

In a professional setting, white would be a nice addition. Nice, simply won't draw to much attention to the surrounding. Than again black is more of a "bold shade", so it is very easy to notice. But than again who would stare at the colour of a mouse scroller lmaooo. If anything. plain is always better. Black just doesnt go well with the overall colour scheme of the mouse.

back to the OP though, hopefully we have helped you decide just went on to check how the results went i didnt think that they would be lopsided and you were thinking the light was better!

Yeah, sometimes it's good idea to read the posts before you ask questions that have already been answered

I prefer the Light, it goes in Unison with mouse. But then again, if a person uses the mouse everyday and puts their finger on it, the rubber wheel will get dirty after awhile.

* I'm using a Dark Mouse Scroll right now. on a white mouse, it is more recognizable though, but I think white would look better. Just my tastes

Well darker looks better and there is a reason, darker blacks and shades of black/grey can actually provide a clearer and more concise visibility in contrast... Make sense? xD
