As for those that saw where I said there were eight entries, I counted a siggy request message as a SOTW message, so sorry for the miscount guys.

Wow 2 is fantastic! 7 is pretty good when it comes to the technique put in, but I hate Naruto... :3

just swinging by to post that the extra vote (the third one that you can't add into it) is my nulled vote so that i can see results LOL. I had wondered about what that was in past SOTWs and only now know what is up with the extra vote XD

1 has the most interesting technique. 3 is just ironman themed? No timeframe at all. I facepalmed at 7. No time reference at all besides the (very) unreadable text.

i noticed that about the BG on the first one too. I dont think it detracts from the whole signature that much anyway. I do quite like it. Number 2 is not too shabby either

i had to squint to read it properly but i COULD just make out the words. It is a bit hard to see at first though. This is what put me off that siggy. It didnt really fit a time period theme either. It only contains the word time, not any reference to a period.

But it fits fine, shows very time influenced images of naruto and also the text tells the story of how time is of the essence with it... I mean have to even watched any or all of naruto? including shippuden?

i really liked it, it got my vote xD

but i believe that the theme was based on Time Periods from real world times... not from an animated series....... people should research the topic meaning before knocking something up that doesnt fit

2. Maybe during the cruisade period? Or gothic period?
3. I think this one is supposed to be futuristic.
4. This looks like the 60's to me, the old bright neon hotels.
5. During the 1800's during the masquerade era.
6.Obviously gladiator period.
7. Current Japan (naruto themed).

If i got your era wrong, or if I didn't know for sure, could you PM me and tell me the time-frame it's supposed to be? Thanks. One's in particular I might need are #2, #5, and #7, i can tell it's a time period, but don't know WHAT time period to call it exactly XD.

thanks for the clarification on that Kat. I was thinking that #4 looked a bit like something out of the 50's/60's with the diner etc. Number 5 i thought looked more 'Moulin Rouge-like'. But yeah as for the naruto one, i still cant see where there is a realistic time period theme going on.....

at first I had no idea how some of the sigs were related to time periods/eras, esp. the cartoon based ones.

I just now googled for naruto's time period so I can classify it as the maker has yet to say anything other than "Naruto's Time" and its supposed to be set in our current time period. This makes sense as from what i've seen they are all wearing jump suits with zippers, and I believe it's set in Japan(?) and i do remember hearing/reading that japan still has some of their traditional buildings etc. So i guess it'd be classified as "Current Japan" time period?

I like #1, gotta give it up for anything that can remind me of a video game. #6, would more accurately be put around the age of Roman expansion with belief in the gods; Jupiter being the Roman equivalent of the Greek Zeus. All good entries, will be interesting to see who wins it.
